U.S. News Ranks South鈥檚 Online Programs Among the Best for 2026

Three 精东影业 online programs are ranked among the Best Online Programs for 2026 by U.S. News & World Report. It evaluated programs nationwide based on a variety of factors, such as student engagement, faculty credentials, and services and technologies.
South鈥檚 online family nurse practitioner program ranked 8th in the country. Online bachelor鈥檚 programs and the online nursing master鈥檚 program also were ranked, up 50 and seven spots, respectively, from the year prior.

2026 is the first time U.S. News has ranked nurse practitioner programs. A family nurse practitioner is an advanced practice registered nurse focusing on the primary and specialty care of patients of all ages.

In its 14th year, the U.S. News Best Online Programs is designed for individuals looking to complete or further their education. This year's edition evaluates more than 1,800 online bachelor's and master's degree programs using metrics specific to online learning.
